About Your Role at Sense<\/h4>\n

What does a typical day look like for you?<\/h5>\n

Lots of meetings! My days are often a mix of internal and utility-facing meetings, interspersed with emails and deep work if time allows. Many of my meetings are oriented around rolling Sense on the meter out to utility partners, and working through any challenges and opportunities we encounter along the way. Every day is different, but I work with a lot of brilliant people.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s been your proudest moment at Sense so far?<\/h5>\n

The first time we had a utility customer onboard with Sense on the meter was far more thrilling than I expected it to be. We\u2019ve had a lot of highlights during my tenure, but it\u2019s hard to beat a launch.<\/p>\n

Thoughts on the Energy Industry<\/h4>\n

Why does this work matter\u2014to you personally?<\/h5>\n

I intentionally work with utilities, rather than another angle of the energy industry. I firmly believe utilities have the potential to bring enormous benefits to their customers in terms of decarbonization and electrification, and we won\u2019t get there without them.<\/p>\n

How do you stay up to date with energy innovation?<\/h5>\n

Conversations with current and former colleagues are big for me. I\u2019ve worked in the energy industry for years, and like hearing the interesting avenues different companies are exploring to bring innovation to utilities and their customers.<\/p>\n

Life Outside of Work<\/h4>\n

What\u2019s your favorite place you\u2019ve ever traveled to?<\/h5>\n

Favorite? I couldn\u2019t pick just one, but I\u2019ve loved my recent travels. I visited Portugal a few months ago with a friend, and Paris before that with family.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s the most recent book, movie, or podcast you loved?<\/h5>\n

I\u2019m an avid reader, especially fiction. I loved Wild Dark Shore and Playground most recently. I\u2019m reading The Loneliness of Sonia and Sunny now.<\/p>\n

Gloves or Mittens?<\/h5>\n

Mittens for serious outdoor time, and Gloves for commuting and whatnot. I have chronically cold hands, and it\u2019s easier to add a hand warmer to mittens.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
